Kiké Hernandez hit a three-run drive and Mookie Betts went deep twice in the Dodgers’ seven-homer attack, powering host Los Angeles past the Colorado Rockies 11-3 on Sunday for a three-game sweep.

“The simple truth of this series is they outpitched us and they outhit us,” Rockies manager Bud Black said. “They came in with a lot of momentum, they were playing well, and they continued.”

The Dodgers (22-8) are the only team in the majors yet to lose a series, unbeaten in 11. They have won 11 of 12 games overall.

Padres 5, Astros 3: Manny Machado’s two-run homer in the eighth inning helped host San Diego complete a three-game sweep of Houston.

Cubs 2, White Sox 1: Kyle Schwarber hit a two-run homer and Yu Darvish struck out 10 in seven innings as the hosts avoided a three-game sweep against their Chicago counterparts. White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu went deep in the second inning, matching a major-league record with a home run in four consecutive at-bats.

Phillies 5, Braves 4: Didi Gregorius took center fielder Roman Quinn’s relay and threw Dansby Swanson out at home as he tried to score from first on a double for the final out in Atlanta.

Tigers 7, Indians 4: Jorge Bonifacio hit a two-run homer and Niko Goodrum and Grayson Greiner had solo shots as visiting Detroit won for the second time in the three-game series after losing its previous 20 games against Cleveland.
